What are the ways of cooperation in licensing IP projects?
Customer Own IP
Customer owns characters, graphics, trademarks or other intellectual property rights and authorizes Hill to design and produce within the scope of the agreed product and order.
Customer is authorized
The customer obtains authorization from the rights party, and Hill completes product development, proofing and production in accordance with the authorization documents and project requirements.
Company Authorized Project
If the authorization obtained by the company is used, it is necessary to confirm the current effective area, channel, product range and publicity authority item by item, and the current saleable range cannot be inferred from the historical cooperation record.
Original pattern cooperation
When a third-party IP is not used, the original design can be provided by the customer, or Hill can assist in the development of original cartoons and children's graphic solutions.
What authorization information needs to be verified before the project starts?
The right party, the authorized party and the entrusted production subject;
Authorized countries or regions, and whether cross-border sales are permitted;
Offline retail, e-commerce, catering, gifts and other allowed sales channels;
Product categories, roles, graphics, trademarks and packaging ranges that can be used;
Authorization period, inventory digestion period and renewal arrangements;
Whether it can be publicly displayed on the official website, exhibitions, catalogues and social media;
Design review, sample approval, packaging approval and anti-counterfeiting marking requirements.
In the absence of the necessary authorization documents or the scope of use is unclear, the project shall be suspended at the design or quotation stage until the client and the right party confirm before proceeding.
How to develop authorized IP children's tableware?
Confirm the authorization document, target market, channel, product range and expiration date;
Choose plate, bowl, cup, spoon fork or suit type, and plan the packaging form;
Make flower paper, logo and packaging design according to the role specification;
Submit the design draft and entity sample for approval according to the process of the right party or customer;
Confirm production documentation, quantity, testing and labeling requirements after approval;
Complete mass production, quality inspection and necessary third party inspection.
When a new model is required, 3D modeling, 3D printing verification, mold fee and new mold sample confirmation should also be added.

The official website and sales materials only show the names, pictures and authorization scope confirmed by the current project and allowed to be disclosed.
Different license conditions may apply to the same IP in different countries, different e-commerce platforms, different product categories, or different years. The latest valid documents shall prevail before quotation and proofing.
Authorized IP Cooperation FAQ
Can customers provide a cartoon picture to produce?
You can't. It is necessary to confirm the source of the rights of the image and whether the customer has the right to use it for the corresponding products, markets and channels.
Can the IP that the company has done in the past be sold now?
It cannot be understood in this way. Historical projects can only demonstrate relevant development experience and current saleable scope must be verified on a project-by-project basis with valid authorizations.
Can children's tableware be developed for the customer's original IP?
You can. Customers need to confirm that they have the corresponding rights and provide role specifications, logos and usage requirements. Hill can assist in the development of flower paper, suits and packaging.
